JOURNEY TO CRONE

CRONE was not born in a single moment, but emerged over many seasons, gently unfolding through devotion to family, service to community, and a quiet longing to return to the self.

Rachel is a mother, a wife, a healer, and a woman rooted in care. For many years, she gave her energy wholeheartedly, raising children, supporting others, and walking alongside many through life’s seasons. Through herbs and food, Rachel offered healing in the most natural of ways. Her days were filled with love, presence, and purpose. Life was full, busy, and beautiful.

As Rachel’s children grew older, a surprising stillness settled into daily life. In that quiet, she began to feel the ache of something unnamed, the fading of the Maiden, the soft departure of the young Mother. A new presence emerged: the CRONE. At first, Rachel didn’t recognize her and struggled to embrace her. But CRONEs are the wisest of women, holding the sacred knowledge of cycles, seasons, and change. And deep within Rachel, something ancient stirred.

In giving so much of herself to others, she realized it was time to tend to her own energy, her own nourishment, her own becoming.

Nature, as always, was waiting.

Rachel was born and raised in the very bioregion where she now wild-harvests the plant medicine that guides others. As a child, she ran barefoot beneath the redwoods, among sorrel and ferns, unknowingly weaving a lifelong bond with the land that would one day call her home again.

Through study, practice, and ancestral remembering, Rachel began to reclaim her care, not apart from her motherhood or her work, but through them. She transformed, not only as a nurturer of others, but as a devoted caretaker of herself.

What began as a personal reconnection grew into something more. An emergence of self. A return to wisdom long held. A way of being that honors both giving and receiving.

And from this, CRONE was born.

CRONE is Rachel’s offering not just from her hands, but from her heart, her lineage, and her lived experience. It is a weaving of family, plants, earth, education, and self-care. A sacred space where others are invited to reconnect, to reclaim, and to return to the truth of who they are.
